IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEA... Not quite ready to hear that yet? That's OK, we understand. But whilst many of us aren't in the Christmas spirit just yet, there's no time like the present to start thinking about LEGO Christmas sets.
With Black Friday just around the bend (or as we like to call it LEGO Black Friday, seeing as that's all we're going to be purchasing), it makes sense to be on the lookout for LEGO winter sets now, so you can pick up a real steal before the big day.
Thankfully, you don't need to look very far for the LEGO sets you ought to pick up in time for Christmas, because we have 7 of the very best right here! So stick around to get a peak at the best LEGO Christmas sets as of 2022!
7. LEGO Christmas Penguin (40498)
The LEGO Christmas Penguin is the latest addition to the LEGO Christmas set family in 2022, so naturally it had to make our list. It's one of our favorites because it's a really good-looking display piece that's been designed in a really fun way. It's relatively simple to build, so it's an excellent option to pick up as a gift for children, or even just to build with any little ones in your life.
Because it's such an excellent display piece, you can leave it up all over Christmas to show off the hard work that was put into it! It works great as festive decor, so you can incorporate the cute design into all of your usual holiday decorations without issue. We love this little Christmas penguin, so keep an eye out for it when it drops in early October!
6. LEGO BrickHeadz Nutcracker (40425)
We don't showcase BrickHeadz enough here, so today we're taking the opportunity to do just that. You can't really have Christmas without a nutcracker, so it's good to see this set making the nutcracker the star of the show. All too often LEGO Christmas sets neglect the time-honored tradition of nutcrackers at Christmas. Thankfully, they rectified that mistake with this one.
We love this one because BrickHeadz captures things in a very unique way, and it makes this nutcracker set a really interesting one to look at, so it's perfect for displaying over the festive period!
5. LEGO Santa's Visit (40125)
It just goes to show how amazing LEGO winter sets are that Santa's Visit is only placing 5th on this list. Hello? It's Santa! Still, as great as this set is, there's plenty more to come from jolly old Saint Nick yet, so don't worry. We love this piece because it really reminds us of the magic of Christmas - being unable to sleep because Santa was on his way, leaving out milk and cookies, and waiting for the big man to slide down the chimney with his bag full of goodies!
This is really fun to build with small children together, and it's great to play with afterwards. Just be prepared to leave out milk and cookies for the real Santa and LEGO Santa on Christmas Eve though, because your kids are going to love this set!

4. LEGO Elf Club House (10275)
Now we're getting to the cream of the crop. From this point forwards prepare to have your mind truly blown if it hasn't been already! To kick off this part of the list, we'll start with the LEGO elf club house! This is so much fun and offers so many opportunities for storytelling that we just know you won't be able to keep your hands off it. It's an elf club house, complete with a waffle making machine, rocket powered sleigh, and a light up brick to add a warm glow so you can display this awesome LEGO set at Christmas too!
The light brick that's included not enough for you? Don't worry, we have a complete lighting kit available for this set that will take it from a soft warm glow to a lighting display worthy of making this one of your go-to Christmas decorations year after year! So why not check it out now?
3. LEGO Winter Village Train Station (10259)
If you ever wanted to combine a bunch of LEGO sets to create a LEGO Christmas village, then you're going to need a LEGO winter village train station - obviously. Well, luckily for you, LEGO has already got your back, and this winter village train station is something special! It has been discontinued, but you can pick it up for a good price if you look early. At Christmas, the prices can hike up a fair bit, so just be aware of that and shop online now to avoid overspending.
Still, this train station is perfect for display and play, with rich details as we've come to expect from LEGO seasonal builds, and plenty of fun available, we can't see this one going out of style any time soon, even if LEGO have decided to discontinue it.

2. LEGO Gingerbread House (10267)
At Christmas you make a gingerbread house, even if you hate gingerbread - it's sort of non-negotiable. But, if you love LEGO, then we have the perfect solution: set number 10267, or, as it's more affectionately known, the LEGO gingerbread house! The best thing is, it's 1447 pieces, so you'll be able to spend a lot more quality time with Grandma than you would have done in the kitchen baking a real one.
It makes for a wonderful decoration once it's built, but there are still minifigures to play with too, so you get the best of both worlds with this set. We love it; you love it; and we're pretty sure Grandma will too!

Illuminate To Celebrate!
This was another tough list to put together, but we're pretty satisfied with the result. The wonderful thing about LEGO is that they love a seasonal build, so even as some of the old ones are discontinued, new ones will arrive and replace it. But just like Christmas itself, no matter how old the traditions are, they never get old - and neither will any of these LEGO Christmas sets!
